I love easy recipes that don’t take long to prepare. Once you’ve tried my frypan granola you’ll never buy store bought again. You can customise this recipe to suit your family’s tastes. We love it on top of our smoothie bowls or with berries and yoghurt. It makes an easy week day breakfast.
2 cups gluten-free oats
1 1/2 cups of a mixture of your choice. Nuts,seeds,dried fruit and coconut shredded.
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
place your oats in a large bowl. Take your nut mix (I give mine a quick pulse in food processor to make smaller pieces) and add to your oats. Add salt and cinnamon. Mix well. Heat a large frypan on medium heat and melt your coconut oil. Then add your mix stirring to prevent burning. Once it starts to brown make a hole in middle and add sweetener of choice. Keep stirring until it’s well mixed. Then take off heat and pour your mix onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Once cool pour into a container to store.
